Jina Etienne - Chapter Member (Education Coordinator)
Jina Etienne, CPA, has more than 21 years of public accounting experience. She began her
career with Touche Ross, then one of the "Big Eight" accounting firms, where her focus was
tax planning and compliance for large consolidated corporations, partnerships, and S
corporations. After starting her practice in 1993, her focus shifted to the needs of small- and
medium-sized businesses. Ms. Etienne earned an M.S. in taxation in 1993 and a B.S.B.A.
in accounting in 1989 from American University. She currently serves on the Executive
Committee of the Private Companies Practice Section of the AICPA.
Jina is also a professional speaker. For over fifteen years, she has traveled the country in
her "spare time" conducting local and national accounting & tax seminars. She has taught
for private companies, clubs, conferences, and various organizations, including the
American Institute of CPAs. She has also served as an adjunct accounting professor at
American University, taught QuickBooks accounting seminars in hands-on group workshops
and one-on-one, personalized sessions.
